Our History

What do we do?

What do we do?

The company was formed 2008 to promote the use of lasers in the transmission welding of polymer materials which offer advantages in design freedom for complex geometries and exceptional strength compared to traditional plastic bonding methods. We offer a wide range of automotive laser polymer welding services.

What do we do?

Of particular significance is the consistent ability to produce hermetically sealed joints for the containment of liquids and gases under pressure.

Initially providing systems for integration in production machinery, the company branched out to service a growing demand for contract welding for the Automotive, Medical, Electronics and Consumer goods industries.

Our Services

The company offers design consultancy at the initial stages of a project to determine feasibility and best joint design, first off and pre-production batches leading to full production.

Component testing is typically 100% using air under water or vacuum decay systems.

Advantages to Laser Welding

  • Design Freedom: Laser welding allows intricate designs and complex geometries.
  • Weight Reduction: By eliminating mechanical fasteners, weight is reduced.
  • Hermetic Sealing: Welded joints can maintain airtight or liquid-tight seals.
  • Cost Savings: Efficient and precise process.
  • Precise Control: Laser welding allows precise control over the welding area.
  • Aesthetically Pleasing Seams: The resulting weld seams are visually appealing, especially on “class A” surfaces.
  • Tighter Tolerances: Laser welding enables tighter tolerances during the joining process.
  • No damage to surrounding materials.
  • Hygienic Bonding: Laser welding generates no particulates, making it a clean and hygienic bonding method making it perfect for the healthcare and food industries.
